Charles Chifamba is a Plant & Machinery Valuation & Advisory Services Consultant at Africa Terre & Property Consulting (ATPC). He has nearly 30 years of experience in appraisal of plant, machinery and equipment and other related activities in many countries in Southern Africa, East and West Africa.

Charles started the profession with Richard Ellis Africa in Zimbabwe where he held several positions from Senior Valuer, Director / Partner to Group Managing Director in Botswana & Zimbabwe. He developed the regional market and worked extensively on cross border assignments covering Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Mocambique, Ethiopia, Eretria, Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Namibia.

He has specialized in the appraisal of plant, machinery and equipment of all classes for a wide variety of purposes including for privatisation, security and balance sheet purposes and for sale. His career has included training in assets appraisal for capacity building of large organisations involved in in-house assets appraisals.
