Chris Fleetwood-Bird is head of Valuation & Advisory Services at Africa Terre & Property Consulting (ATPC). He has nearly 50 years of experience in Appraisal and other Real Estate activity in Africa, the Middle East and Asia/Pacific.
Chris started his career in the UK before migrating to Africa working in the private sector as the director/partner in various general practice firms in Uganda and Tanzania, and as a Partner/Director of CBRE in Botswana and Zimbabwe.
He has specialized in the appraisal of property of all classes for a wide variety of purposes including for privatisation, security and balance sheet purposes and well as for sale and lease negotiations and acting as a municipal rating valuation officer. His career has included acting as an expert witness in compensation claims before international Tribunals.
His last 14 years have largely been spent in undertaking appraisal and other work as an Associate of CBRE involving properties world-wide.
